Holding of the 48th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Pakistan (22-24 March): Participation of the Minister of State Kandia Kamissoko Camara

At the kind invitation of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Her Excellency Mrs. Kandia Kamissoko Camara, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Diaspora, represented the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire at the OIC Summit. The delegation she led was composed of:
- HEM. COULIBALY Drissa, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the OIC;
- HEM. François Xavier ZABAVI, Director General of Multilateral Cooperation, Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Diaspora;
- HEM. OUATTARA Tamakolo, Ambassador, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. at the Embassy in Tehran (Iran);
- Mr. Mamadou DOSSO, Counsellor at the Embassy of Côte d'Ivoire in Saudi Arabia.

The 48th Session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMAE) had as its theme "BUILDING A PARTNER FOR UNITY, JUSTICE AND DEVELOPMENT".

Speaking on behalf of the Ivorian delegation, Her Excellency Mrs. Kandia Kamissoko Camara praised the quality of cooperation between Côte d'Ivoire and the OIC. Addressing the theme, "BUILDING PARTNERSHIP FOR UNITY, JUSTICE AND DEVELOPMENT", the Minister of State reaffirmed the need for Member States to focus on the implementation of intra-OIC economic, commercial, scientific and technological partnership strategies in order to meet the challenges facing the Muslim world.
